The world's first ever interior design awards center around the concept of "Luxury Stone". The Luxury Stone Awards explore top-tier design works associated with "contemporary," "luxury," "aesthetics," and "natural stones." The term "luxury stone" does not necessarily point out a specific style. Through diverse design minds, realizing humanity's desire for imagination of beauty. Luxury stone flows through the details of everyday life, creating a unique natural luxury.

As one of the world's oldest building materials, stone has never disappeared from human living spaces. In recent years, the international trend of "luxury stone" has risen, transforming stone from a mere component of buildings to objects of admiration and collection. Taiwan's society, known for its diverse, inclusive, and creative cultural characteristics, believes that amidst the clash of different styles and thoughts, aesthetics can be enriched in the presentation of life.

The inaugural panel of judges brings together elite figures from the aesthetic industries, including fashion, art, media, and more. The expectation is to select representative interior design works that showcase the infinite possibilities of stone in space. We aim to present a contemporary Taiwanese luxury aesthetic and establish an internationally renowned collection of works.
Submission Period
 January 16, 2024 - March 5, 2024.
 
Submission Eligibility
  • Professionals in the field of interior design can participate individually or as a group.
  • Submitted works must have been completed within the last 5 years (2020-2024).


Submission Guidelines
  • No registration fees.
  • Participants can submit up to three works.
  • Works must be of "interior design," including but not limited to "residential spaces," "commercial spaces," and "public spaces."
  • Works must prominently feature "natural stone" elements, with no restriction on supplier brands. (Porcelain slabs, tiles, artificial stone, and other non-natural products may appear but will not be included in the award evaluation.)
  • Due to the privacy of specific residential works, the owner, location, and related information may remain undisclosed.

Registration and Submission Process
  • Fill out the basic information on the registration form.
  • Submit 12 (or fewer) images of the work, including floor plan. Images must be in .jpg format, with each photo limited to 2MB at 300dpi.
  • Provide an English design description, including thoughts on the use of stone.
  • Email submissions to luxurystoneawards@chenhowmarble.com.
 

Judging criteria include

  • Aesthetic beauty of stone (40%): Expression, selection, and planning of stone.
  • Beauty of space (30%): Spatial perception, luxury, and atmosphere.
  • Artistic presentation (30%): Uniqueness, artistic value, and visual appeal.
Award Prizes
  1. Winning works will be featured in the special issue of Tatler Homes magazine, dedicated to the Luxury Stone Awards, officially released and archived.
  2. A commemorative trophy for the Luxury Stone Awards.

潘怡良
中國時裝設計最高榮譽【金頂獎】得主之中首位來自臺灣的原創高級定制服裝設計師，以“針織女王”著稱。2001年用自己象徵歡欣樂觀的義大利文名字 Gioia創立 GIOIA PAN品牌，致力於針織技術的研究與革新，並不斷推出驚艷業界的針織時尚。

Yu Lee 李瑜深耕米蘭時尚圈，以米蘭常駐特派記者起家，並於2013年創立個人平台「Yutopia」，成為第一代旅義台灣部落客。返台後曾擔任國際雜誌Talter總編輯，並多次獲邀Tedx演講，導覽LV、Dior等多場國際大型展覽，亦擔任Gucci、Fendi、VCA等高奢品牌VIP講師。
